Our Work
From reforestation and sanitation to environmental education — here is how we turn commitment into change on the ground.
How we create change
Each program combines practical action with the education that keeps the impact alive.
Environmental Conservation Awareness
We educate people on why it matters to protect their environment — the merits of conservation, hygiene and sanitation, and the harm of degradation and poor hygiene.
We also share relevant entrepreneurship skills that protect the natural biodiversity of the target area, such as establishing vegetable gardens instead of burning charcoal through deforestation.
Biodiversity Restoration
We restore and return the lost biodiversity of the target area — not only by planting trees, but by providing the environmental education that favours the natural ecosystem.
The target area is Lushoto District, especially interior places like the Mlola subdivision, where degradation has been most severe.
Environmental Hygiene & Sanitation
We build and renovate toilets, mobilizing and promoting the local society on the significance of using standard toilets.
We offer materials and technical support so households can afford safe sanitation and prevent the eruption of diseases such as cholera and typhoid across the rural areas of Lushoto District.

Help us grow a greener, healthier Lushoto
Partner with us, fund a program, or volunteer in the field. Every tree planted and every toilet rebuilt starts with people who care.
